Mmmm. Freinds locally made fig jam, baked it into little Breton sable cakes, like real food version of fig rolls!

The fennel seeds on the weathered table, and the poem pears, all exquisite. Wild thyme a favourite from Kipling's Sussex, the flowers sprinkled on a salad.
